2023-24 Virginia Tech Football Transfer Portal Hub (2024)

Transfer portal season is upon us and we at The Tech Lunch Pail are ready to bring you the best coverage of it. Virginia Tech is set to once again be busy in the portal as they look to bolster their roster further heading into year 3 of the Brent Pry era.

For those who don't already know, the transfer portal operates a lot different than traditional recruiting due to the tightened window. There will be plenty of transfers who will commit rather quickly after only a couple visits. Additionally, some transfers will choose to only report a few or even none of their offers publicly.

Here's our rundown on where the numbers stand for the Hokies, who has transferred in or out, and all of our coverage of the transfer portal.

• 90 Scholarship Players for 2024 (5 over the limit)

The following Hokies are out of eligibility after the 2023 season: S Nasir Peoples, LB Alan Tisdale, DT Norell Pollard, DT Mario Kendricks, and DT Pheldarius Payne.
