He is survived by his wife of 50 years Sherry Salamone Martz; his daughter Courtney Martz of Florida; his beloved dog "Bailey", and a brother, Edward Martz of Boonsboro. Leroy was a 1970 graduate of Boonsboro High School. He retired from CanAm Steel after 42 years of service.
